Accessibility for legal teams

Reliable accessibility evidence, built by real specialists

See how our manual inspection methodology surfaces the barriers automated tools miss, and how we turn those findings into clear, defensible documentation for evaluation, defense, and settlement.

Accessibility expertise for law firms

Helping attorneys with reliable accessibility evidence

Digital and physical accessibility lawsuits continue to rise across the United States, spanning every major industry. Attorneys need reliable, unbiased inspection data to evaluate claims, prepare defenses, or substantiate settlements.

Accessibilities provides law firms and their clients with manual accessibility audits that meet the evidentiary standards of ADA Title III, Section 508, and WCAG 2.2 AA. We do not rely on automated scans. We perform human-led inspections that reveal the real user barriers and actionable findings your case can depend on.

Why it matters

Why accessibility support matters for law firms

Automated testing tools miss most of the barriers that appear in litigation. For accurate defense or negotiation, attorneys need evidence built on manual, standards-based evaluation. Our methodology mirrors the techniques used by plaintiffs’ experts, giving you the clarity to assess exposure, negotiate confidently, and guide clients toward compliance.

WCAG 2.2 AA inspections of websites named in complaints

Clear reports that document barriers and the fixes that resolve them

Accessibility consulting for settlements and compliance plans

Verification reviews after accessibility fixes are completed

Digital accessibility

Digital evidence for accessibility litigation

Most accessibility claims target websites, web applications, and documents. We inspect each one manually with assistive technology, then document findings your developers and the court can act on.

Case-specific WCAG inspections

Comprehensive manual WCAG 2.2 AA evaluations of the websites, mobile apps, or PDFs named in a matter, tested with screen readers and keyboard navigation.

Expert declarations & analysis

Objective technical findings formatted for legal submission, with each barrier mapped to its WCAG success criterion and Section 508 provision.

Remediation verification reports

Independent confirmation that completed fixes meet WCAG 2.2 AA, documenting good-faith compliance for settlements and the court.

Compliance policy & VPAT support

Accessibility statements, policies, and Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates aligned with settlement terms and procurement requirements.

Physical ADA Title III claims, inspected on site

Accessibility litigation is not limited to websites. Construction-related claims target parking, entrances, paths of travel, and restrooms. We coordinate on-site built-environment inspections, and California CASp surveys, of a client's physical location through our certified inspector network, with documentation and expert witness support.

Built-environment ADA surveys

On-site evaluation against the 2010 ADA Standards, covering the architectural barriers that complaints most often cite.

California CASp inspections

Through our partner network, certified Access Specialist surveys that can establish Qualified Defendant status under California's CRASCA statute.

Documentation & expert witness

Clear inspection records, due-diligence evaluations, and expert witness testimony for construction-related accessibility matters.

Results

Results we have delivered for attorneys

The strongest response to a demand is a defensible record that already exists. Our documentation is written to be verifiable and immediately useful, whether your client is responding to a new claim or maintaining the ongoing history that quietly heads one off.

Digital + Physical · 3-year client

A client we have supported for three years, across both their physical location and their website, already had a defensible history of inspections and documentation on file when an ADA demand arrived. We provided our existing evidence and the record of their ongoing compliance work. The claimant never followed up. No response, no settlement, the matter simply went away.

FAQ

Accessibility support for attorneys, answered

Do you provide expert declarations and reports for litigation?

Yes. We provide objective technical findings formatted for legal submission, including expert declarations and detailed inspection reports that map each barrier to its WCAG 2.2 AA success criterion, Section 508 provision, and ADA Title III implication. Every finding is documented so it can be independently verified by opposing experts.

Why not rely on automated accessibility scans for a case?

Automated tools detect only a portion of real accessibility barriers, missing most of the issues that appear in litigation. Plaintiffs’ experts rely on manual testing with screen readers and keyboard navigation, so a defense built on automated scans alone leaves gaps. Our manual inspection methodology mirrors the techniques plaintiffs’ experts use, giving you a defensible picture of actual exposure.

Can you verify that a client's remediation actually meets WCAG?

Yes. We perform remediation verification reviews that confirm whether completed fixes meet WCAG 2.2 AA. This produces documentation of good-faith compliance that supports settlement terms, demonstrates progress to a court, and reduces the risk of repeat claims.

Do you handle physical ADA Title III claims as well as website cases?

Yes. Alongside digital inspections, we coordinate on-site built-environment ADA surveys and, in California, CASp inspections of a client’s physical location through our certified inspector network. This covers parking, entrances, paths of travel, and restrooms, the architectural barriers most often cited in construction-related accessibility claims, with documentation and expert witness support.

We already work with the client's web developer. Can you still help?

Yes. We regularly work alongside in-house and external developers. Our role is to identify and document barriers in clear, developer-ready language so the client’s team knows exactly what to fix. We do not replace the developer; we provide the independent evidence and guidance the case needs.

What is the typical timeline for case support?

Timelines depend on the size and scope of the site or location under review. A targeted inspection of the pages or location named in a complaint can move quickly, while broader engagements through remediation and verification commonly fall within a 30 to 60 business-day range. We scope and confirm timing before any work begins.
